'Mise en Scene' Props

For the Mise en Scene I will need to take into account:

• Props

I will not require any props for my photo as the actors will not be holding anything or standing on an object.

'Mise en Scene' Costumes

For the Mise en Scene I will need to take into account:

• Costumes

For the costumes I will need:
White Suit with White shoes(if my actors have one)
Black Suit with Black shoes
Blue Suit with No shoes on
Light Blue top with Dark Blue jeans and Brown shoes

'Mise en Scene' Location

For the Mise en Scene I will need to take into account:

• Location 

For the Location I will need to go to Liverpool to get the photo. The location is Abby Road where the photo was famously shot, I will need the same  background but not with the old style cars.

 

'Mise en Scene' Camera Angle

For the Mise en Scene I will need to take into account:

• Camera Angle 

For the camera angle it will need to be a far shots. The height of the shot will be a full person shot so that we are able to see all of the person while they are facing away from the camera so that you can only see the side of their faces.

Double Page Spread Idea's

Double page spreads usually consist of  interviews with a member of the band or person being interviewed in different ways. Such as questions and answers or just general chit chat. They are most likely going to contain images of the person/band in a certain pose. The images aren't focused so that the band member is looking down the lens of a camera.
E.G.

In this double page spread example we are able to see what the bands genre is, images, an interview with one of the band members and and a stand out title.

This is an example of a double page spread with an interview also containing an image and a stand out title. The image is set as the member is posing to the camera while looking straight down the lens of the camera.

Ideas for Photo shoot

I have decided to use 4 teenagers (16-18) to replicate the famous The Beatles Abbey Road. For this I will require a Camera to take Multiple shots of the models while they are replicating the photo. I will also need to get to Abbey Road itself. I will need 4 models in suits with wigs to get the correct hair colour included in this I will ask one of the models to have no shoes on as in the actual photo one of the  members has no shoes on and is putting forward the opposite leg. The suits will also have to be a variety of colours ranging from white, back and blue. The end member is wearing casual clothes aswell as light brown shoes Black and White shoes will also be needed for the shot. This shot will be a far shot  as the whole body is in it but the heads are turned so that you can only see half of there face.

For this I will require a Camera to take Multiple shots of the models while they are replicating the photo. This is also another possibility for a photo. This requires less travelling but a white background. This image also requires the models to wear Black pants, Black shoes,Blue coat and different types of hats. They will also have to pose in a certain way. The shot will be a far shot as it is difficult to make out the faces on the models and there whole body is in it. Whereas on this photo they are looking directly at the camera.

My Influences

I have taken influences from many of The Beatles front covers. I am most likely to choose the Abbey Road photo but I have kept these back as an option. 

Music Magazine Font

I have chosen this style of font to use for my magazine as it shows the genre of the music.

I have also looked into using these fonts but it doesn't stand out as the type of genre that my music magazine is.

My target audience

The social group that I have aimed for is rock likers (moshas). This can be any type/genre of this music type from soft rock to hard rock. Screamo and acoustic. A wide variety of people can read my magazine. This type of music is listened to over a wide audience, the music is listened to by both genders aswell as class.

 This type of magazine is read by a variety of people who love that genre of music.

Magazine audience statistics

These are the percentages of male and females that read the magazines aswell as the age of people that read it. Q readers are mostly between 15-24 and Mojo readers are mostly 45-54. These provide me with a wide range of audiences when I base my magazine on them.

My Magazine Inspirations

I have decided to design my magazine on Rock music. I have taken influences from Mojo and Q to see how a magazine is set out. These will help with the overall design of the magazine aswell as images and text being used for both the front cover and double page spread.
